Thats a good looking bull there Ermont. 15 has been good to me over the years I hope that trend continues.
This was my bull from last year in 15. Day 9 of a 10 day season.
Now I need to settle on my setup for this year.Good luck to all.

Unit 15 has been good to me over the years. Several Big Bull Harvested. Wrong Equipment to show pics. This will be my second attempt with Trad Equipment. Long story from Unit 17 last year. Several opportunities no Harvest. Hit a BIG BULL a little high and forward . Caught the shoulder blade. No penetration.
Good luck to all. Time to get into shape and daily practice sessions.

Me and a buddy drew Elk -2-164. Season is from Sept. 1 through 15th. We will only be able to hunt 7 days. Any recommendations on which time to go?

I got 45 for elk and 43 for deer.
They are both less than 30min from my home, figured that would be a bonus.
Ya guys have any info on the areas?
I know guys like to hike into the Pecos and from what I hear, success is nearly 30% there, either sex that is.
