Gt 7595 setups

Curious about setups you guys are using. I'm trying to tune to a 58 @ 28 kodiak magnum. My draw is probably just shy of that. Feather rest, brace at 8.25 ish. Arrow length 29. Use to shoot from compound, trying to put back to use. Thanks

You will have to put at least 425 grains of point weight to get them to tune. You really need a 55/75 and if you cut it to 29"s you will still need a lot of point weight ecsp. if you are only getting 55-56#s at your draw. Start at 275 grains but I dare say you will need more than that. 100 grain brass insert and 175 grain point will get ya started. Although if you leave the 55/75s say 31"s 275 may do it for you. The more I think about it, you should actually go to a 35/55 cut to 29"s and 175 grain head, bet that will be the ticket. Shawn

That's sort of what I was thinking.I was going to sa 400grs.That's stiff,cut to 29".That would mean about a 730 gr arrow.

Thanks Shawn, I was figuring on front loading them. I have some 3555, just not the weight I was going for. Was aiming to use 160 snuffer, 100 gn insert, and possibly 100 gn gt weight system.

My most commonly used arrow is a 55/75 GT, 100 grain brass and from 150 to 200 up front......cut to 29 to 29 1/2.  Lately I've been leaving them at 29 1/2 and going lighter on the point weight but still with the 100 grain brass insert.  I use these on bows from the upper 50's to low 60's.

I use 75/95's on my 66# Predator recurve at the same length and relatively same point weight.  Still using the brass inserts.  This bow needs a stiff arrow though.

The problem is even though those bows are decent performers they are by no means spped demons. If you still want to get the weight up and you draw 27.5"s, you could get away with a 28.25" arrow BOP and than you may get away with that 260 up front. You can play around with them a bit. I have some 400. spine CE shafts. I would send ya a few, if ya send me your addy.(PM me, no charge just pay it forward some day, someway) they are full length and if ya do not mind a few inches of arrow sticking past the back of the bow, you could trim them 1/2" at a time til ya got the combo that works for ya! Maybe 31"s with 275 or so(maybe)100 grain brass inserts,160 grain head ya like and a footing about 15 grains. Let me know and I will get them out to you asap! Shawn

I shoot a 60# bellymount curve cut to center with only velcro for strike plate, drawing 28.5", so prolly getting 61.5# of actual pull on it.  My 7595's are cut 31" with 100gr brass inserts shooting 125 gr heads. Total weight 596gr +/-. They are the camo ones like yours. If you went full length, you'd prolly be a lot closer to spine right, but 5575 are much more likely to be easier to tune for your setup.

i shoot 60# martin hunter, cut past centre, leather strikeplate.

29.5" 7595 woodgrain , 100gr brass, 220gr point, makes bulletholes in paper at 6 yards. no side tear at all.

ends up  around 675gr.

if your arrows are overspine, just shoot them and if they  group well and fly ok, then use them!

31 1/4" 7595 wood grains with 100 gr inserts and 140gr points [604 gr total] tunes well from a 64" BW PMA 55@30"
