I need some help - price range of custom bows

I'm back in college and I am writing a paper on archery. I would appreciate your expertise on the archery market.

What would you say the price range is on custom built bows, manufactured compound bows, and crossbows, lowest to highest?

I have search, but have not found any statistics out there. Does anyone know of a reliable website with this type of information?

In my experience I would say custom bows run from about $400-$1200, for compounds, and crossbows $300-$1500 for adult bows. Hope this helps. The best way to check would be just to look at some archery websites and hunting supplies store.
