saw a groves spitfire magnum 1 dynastressed recurve 28 / 50 lbs in excellant cond today at our monday night 3d unmarked shoot.Any one have any idea what a bow like this sells for today.Original owner paid 500.00 in 2001. thanks dennis.

If the bow is in great shape, $300 would be a fair asking price. I was a Groves dealer and since they stopped building them they are a hot item. Remember the bow is 12 yrs old now and unfortunately, some guys think they are holding on to Gold.

I have one that I tried to sell for less than that, but I got rather fond of it and it is no longer for sale. I like pulling less than 50 pounds and getting 60 pounds worth of speed.
