Anyone with experience with this bow? Wondering about hand shock as compared to say a howard hill.

Shot one at Denton Hill. Nice shooting bow, extremely smooth, no handshock. Beautiful workmanship.

Dwyer original is HARD to beat. It's still pretty much my go to after trying other bows for about 5 years.  Bill

Had one of Dave's first orginals, at 68 inches I thought it was too long..haa...  sold it....spent about 5 years or so without a longbow....started looking again...could have pretty much bought what ever I wanted...narrowed it down to a HH or a Dwyer orginal....now I have a very nice 66" Dwyer orginal and am very happy...only reason I could see selling it is if I couldn't shoot it anymore...I'll get a Hill style bow someday??

As stated, great longbow.  Had one last spring and foolishly sold it to try other makes.  Got a new one coming in August.  Less hand shock than many d bows, very quiet and beautiful, the epitome of a long graceful bow.

My first custom longbow as an original Dwyer. Back then that was all he made. I too sold mine because I thought 68" was too long...   :knothead:

I had one and was a very nice bow. No hand shock. Like others here I sold to try others. I have had a couple of HH and cant shoot them worth a hoot. The Dwyer is as good as any and better than most.
