I was at our local range last night and ment an older trad. archer. He and his wife just mover here 3 days ago. He was probally in his seventies. A Vietnam vet. I got to talking with him about archery. He noticed right away that a carry a bare shaft in my quiver. He was real happy to see that. He is a believer in bare shafting. He said a bare shaft doesn't lie. i connected to this older gentleman right away. We talked almost 2 hrs. about trad shooting. He watched me shoot, gave me pointers, and coached me up with postive stuff about my shooting. What a great guy. He has been shooting a trad bow since 1966. Full of experience and willing to share. We exchanged phone numbers. I told him thank you, shook his hand, and said I would really like to shoot with you again. Last night I felt very gratiful to meet this man. Thank you Frankie.
