Lets see your toelke kestrel.

Hey Guys,

Anyone out there shoot a Toelke Kestrel recurve? Anyone have any pictures? I like the looks of this bow, but haven't seen much about it. Let's see yours!

I have taken the opportunity to shoot a couple of Kestrals at Dan's. I draw a bit over 29"s and these little bows did not show a hint of stacking. They were very well mannered, quite fast and like every bow by Dan, quiet. Pete Ward did a full, very favorable report on one awhile back.

There's a sweet one over in the product review section, it has a nice quiver on it too.

Jon, if you go on the Toelke website:  www.montanabows.com  and scroll down there is a picture of a Kestral drawn to 29 1/4" by Dan's son Jared. Scroll back up and click on "inventory recurves". Go down to the last 3 recurves, all Kestrals. The middle bow is a particularly fine Cocobolo/Myrtlewood model.

I'm pretty sure my next bow is the Kestral. I'll put a Kanati Dual Arc quiver on it as well. I started out shooting a 52" Browning Nomad and have a real (unfulfilled as yet) desire to have a short bow. For all my hunting, not just treestands and blinds.
I like how the Montana Bows site has a "feature" on this bow. The Cocobolo in the bow in their inventory is some of the nicest I've seen.
