Is that the Dakota Jake decoy you have there? Great looking setup. Hope you bag one soon. God bless.

Went to other side of the woods to have a look and there is a tom with some lady's...tryd some soft purrs from the woods ...nothing tryd to get him to sound off with a crow call...nothing so I slipped back into the blind calling every so often try in to drag them my way as opposed to busting up the FLOCk...I will try the set there tomorrow unless they come on over today

Good luck!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Day 3...
Well as promised the wind is awfully strong and to boot some spotty patches sleet rain and snow! I was going to set up where I seen the birds yesterday but no chance with that wind.....even back where I was day 2 with the wind break I have had the blind pull the stakes and fly over me 2times my decoys definitely have motion    I need to chase down my sub hen but am afraid if I do the blind will be in the next county... have seen 4deer and 1 turkey @ 170yards but paid me no mind... with me today is the new bow along with my primitive gear...

....we will see how long I can hold down the fort
