Hey all,
I just finished reading a thread about modifying gloves to get them perfect and one of the guys said he used a BATTERS glove and it worked great. Another member took some neoprene gloves and made some archery glove out of those as well.
That got me thinking. The MECHANIX GLOVES that the NASCAR guys wear have become very popular. I think Wal-Mart and others even have their own "knock-off" version of them They have even become very popular with our troops and Special Forces to use as SHOOTING GLOVES. Next time you see some pics of a soldier shooting his rifle, he'll probably be wearing them.
So I thought I'd see if anyone here has tried them for shooting. If you have, how did they work out? Did you do anything to them to make them better like gluing any material on the finger tip areas? Do you use them will ALL the fingers still on them or what?
I'd like to hear what you think. I am going to check them out the next time I go to NAPA or some auto parts store and see how they might be made to work.
Lets hear what you think.
