Try one more time...we arrived at Jerry's place Friday after noon..got unpacked and on the stand before dark....had a good hog come in at 20  yds.passed the shot  because of the brush...right at dark I had 5 hogs come in.wated for a quartering away shot and put my 675 grain arrow in a good spot.....recovered my prize about 75 yard away....up at daylight the next morning for bass fissing...got 25 between us...back to camp for lunch.....back on the stand....saw 2 more hogs no shot...up at daylight and chasing stripers.....we got 3 of those....back to camp for a fish fry...at dark back on the water for bow fishing......had a wonderful time....thanks jerry..you are a good man and a fine host.....jeff

I enjoyed having you and the Tennessee gang down here. We sure packed a bunch of hunting and fishing into 60 hours for sure. Here is the video and a couple of pictures.

There is a very interesting footnote to this story. Jeff (Whossbows) on here) had originally won this trip at a Christmas give-a-way hunt that we did about 18 months ago. He then asked me if he could give the hunt away to the father of a young man that had joined the military. They wanted to do one last hunt together before the young man shipped off. Well that hunt turned out awesome with one of them taking their first trad animal ( a big red hog) ever.

Giving that hunt to that young man was a very generous thing that Jeff did so I felt that he deserved the hunt anyway. Fast forward to this weekend and I am sure glad he got to make the hunt. He is a fine fellow and I have a great new friend. The video says it all, we had a great time.
