a friend just gave me a left handed pearson golden sovereign recurve labeled as: golden monarch 5'2" 60# at 26" and i was wondering if anybody could give me some info on this bow? i think they were target bows but this one is a 60 pounder!?? it is in really nice condition and has a classy wood pattern to it.
should i try to sell it? how much? keep it as a collectable? i'm a righty so i can't keep it as a shooter unless i turn it upside down!
thanks.

I've got a 1968 Sovereign catalog and the Monarch isn't in it, so I can't help.

I have a 64# longbow that spits an arrow and kicks like a toothpick mule if you hold it wrong...
Even though lefties are in their right minds, we're occasionally weird.
Seriously though, it sounds interesting to me. I just picked up a Ben Pearson bow from Ray Hammond that is surprisingly fast for a 40# bow shooting 500 plus grain woodies. Pearsons had some nice shedua back in the day.

Bud, you have no idea how true that statement is! I am left handed but, shoot, punch and most everything right handed.
