Groves Spitfire Question
« on: June 04, 2013, 01:54:00 AM »
I'm going to receive a 1 piece spitfire soon that I bought on the big auction site - I'm going to refinish it. My question is I noticed that there is a number 2 stamped in the riser (below the grip centered in the riser)....but I can't find any information on the web that would explain the meaning of it....? thanks for any insight...

I've shot Groves bows since the 60's and have never seen that.

Bear would stamp a '2' in the riser of 'seconds'.
