What would be the wood equivalent of beeman classic 600 spine and 26 inches long? I'm not so knowledgeable on arrows. But I'm willing to learn!!! Can someone teach me something here?

I don't know the spine equivalent between carbon and wood but I find this chart to be useful for wood arrows. As far as carbon is concerned, this chart suggests arrows that are way too stiff. It would be a good idea to try a test kit.

They would be 50-55 in wood(.600 carbon spine about 52# on my spine tester).
However, wood and carbon act totally different.
On one bow I shoot 50-55 wood w/ 125gr tips but .600 carbons take 200grs.

gday
the static spine of .600 shaft cut to 26, with a 11gr insert and 125gr tip is 80lbs.
the equivalent wood shaft would be one which deflects by .430 of an inch when spanned over 26" and a 2 lb weight is applied to the centre (AMO method) this arrow would be marked as a 60lb spine arrow.
These numbers are verified by stu's spine calculator.
cheers

I finished my self bow and was test shooting arrows. My carbons shot best but I love some pretty cedar arrows. Just wanted to make sure I got some experienced information first.
