How to find traditional shoots or events in an area

Other than browsing the "Trad Events and Gatherings" here on TG, or looking for ads in trad archery magazines, is there a central location where a person can see if there are any traditional shoots in an area?
I know about 3dshoots.com, but I'm hoping there's something that filters out the compound activities.

I assume you are inquiring about events in other states? If so, how about scrolling down to the state forums below? Begin a new topic there with your question...and good hunting.

That might work... but I'm really hoping that there is a central repository of information. I know of shoots in my state that are not listed under the "states" section, so I assume that this information is lacking in other states as well.

No such thing. The trad events and gatherings forum is as close as you will come.

I am gonna guess that all states have a traditional state club. Google them and see thier sites.
