Gang,
I just wanted to share some pics of my new Tall Tines recurve. I was looking for a new recurve, and all the Tall Tines posts on here lately really had me leaning in that direction. I had shot one of these bows about a year ago, and really liked it. I shot Brian a message, and it turned out he had a stock bow that exactly met what I was looking for. My timing was great, because it almost got sent out for a customer to demo. After a few emails, the arrangement was made, and the bow arrived on Friday!
I set it up and shot it yesterday, and again this morning (I had to make sure how well I shot yesterday with it wasn't a fluke!). I love it. It is whisper quiet, very smooth (its marked 49# at 28", but its a 62" bow and handles my 29" draw easily). Best part for me is the grip - it just fits my hand and is almost impossible to grip inconsistently.
Anyway, here's another recommendation for the Tall Tines bows! Brian was great to deal with, and bow is beautiful. I don't have any pics of my own (yet), but these are 2 that Brian sent me. It will soon have antler knobs for the bolts. It is stunning!
I also need to thank Mike and Sue Shaw from Shaw's Traditional Archery in Boyerstown, PA. I stopped by their shop to get some assistance in setting up and tuning the bow, and they were very welcoming and helpful!
