Elk season in jeopardy for me
« on: July 02, 2013, 06:42:00 PM »
...because i found out today i drew a goat tag for the same unit!

As an archery hunter my season starts September 1, same day as elk. Hopefully all the years of being distracted by glassing goats while elk hunting will pay off.

Congrats on your tag! Take your goat and then go after your elk.

Good luck.

Thanks for all of the kind words of support and encouragement.
My hope is to actually USE my camera, and record some of the fun.

I figure i should make a better effort this year to share some of the adventure here with those who have been so free with their stories, so stay tuned...

Exactly what I was thinking.  The nice thing is you are in the same unit.

Good luck, hope you take pics and bring back a story or two.
