Longbow question
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:21:00 PM »
Hey folks. I picked up a longbow a year or so ago on a trade and I finally got around to playing with it enough to figure it out a little the other day. Once I figured out how it likes to be gripped I liked it alot.

On the belly side of the limbs is says "Deer slayer" on the lower and "Razorback Longbow" on the upper. It says 55# @ 28 in.

I had the wife take a few pics of it but I'm not having any luck getting them to post at the moment.

There isn't a serial number of any other info on it. It had a thin leather grip on it that was falling off so I went ahead and removed it just to see what was underneath. No more info. I ended up using some padded baseball bat tape to re-cover the grip and it really cushioned it well.

Anybody ever heard of it or anything like it? Could it just be some back yard bow builders one off creation? Its my only Hill style bow and its not going anywhere. Just curious if anybody here may have some info on it.

I searched here and googled it but nothing even remotely close comes up.

Thanks alot.
