Bow string material shelf life?

I found some (brand new) rolls of b50,from when we had a shop in the 80"s,Think it's still good? Burt

I would think that if it has been stored in a stable climate (not in extreme heat/cold) and out of direct sunlight, that it would be good.  But then again, I have not used any that old.  :dunno:
