Anybody Know About This?
« on: September 01, 2007, 01:47:00 PM »
I know most people up here are interested in more "custom" bows, but I have a chance to pick up a Samick Verna R/D longbow for real cheap, and I'd like opinions on this particular model. Any info you have is appreciated since I'm not able to pay for more expensive equipment these days.

I haven't had much experience with Samick bows, but what little I have was with a Samick SKB horsebow. Obviously that's not very comparable to a R/D Longbow but FWIW it was a decent bow for it's price point. I have although played many Samick guitars, and again for their price point they are O.K.

It is a very smooth drawing bow but I have not shot one.For cheap I would buy one myself just because it feels good and should shoot fine.jmo
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....
