Had something strange happen while practicing...

I've been working a bit every day to get my selfmade Hun bow able to shoot correctly.  I'm making real discernable progress, but I needed to ask you guys what happened to me tonight.

I took one of my actual made-up arrows (instead of my cane beaters that I use to determine if it will even pull) and made a decent blunt on the end with a .32 blackpowder casing, some lead sheet and another brass collar.  I have no actual points of any kind, I make up what I need so far.  It cured the issue of the arrow burying the fletching in the ground (I know how it works in physics, but it was the most interesting ting I had ever seen.)

My arrows were corkscrewing at the fletching end, while the head end was (mostly) steady.  Accuracy was reminiscent of a certain can where we place things our bodies have completed their business with.  I recognize I am doing something wrong, and losing a LOT of energy to that, but what have I done wrong?

Arrows are 36" long birch, self nocks and modern two-fletch.  Fletching left mostly untrimmed so I can have enough energy to chase the arrow down in this heat.  If needed I can try to get a pic or two of the setup.

I recently saw a post on here about the 2 fletch, I had seen them before, but never tried them. Well I had an arrow that needed refletching and decided to try it. What I noticed was when I made a good clean release, the arrow flew awesome, but if I plucked it even a little or made a less than stellar release the arrow didn't fly worth a crap, stuff that I can get away with all day with 3 5" fletch, with 2 5"fletch it didn't work so well. I'd imagine it could be the same from your self bow, if everything isn't just perfectly tuned, it could exaggerate your arrow flight problems.

if your shooting 2 fletch, pm stixbowdrew on here he runs 4" parabolic 2 fletch and i yell at him everyday but it works for him he will be able to give you some insight on how he does it.
