Two fletch arrows
« on: July 20, 2013, 06:32:00 AM »
I made up some two fletch arrows after reading the threads posted here recently.  They fly pretty good if I do my part.  I used some big (5-3/4") banana cut feathers I had.

Pretty much anything will fly well when we do our part including a bare shaft...what we need to spend our time and efforts on is doing our part..and in your case building some very nice arrows...are those autumn orange xx75's?

They look good Ron. Appear to have some serious helical, how do they fly with broad heads? I may have to try that. Thank for showing those.

They look real good, Ron!!!!!

Tyler & I made up a couple with some old bare cedar shafts I had laying around. They came out pretty good! I haven't completely "sold Tyler on the 2 fletch Idea.....

But, I like the idea that a bag of 100 feathers, will fletch 50 arrows!!!!!
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

Very nice! Glad you are liking them. I absolutely love mine and probably won't go back to three.

Thanks everyone.  They are not autumn orange shafts.  They are some of those 1820 NASP arrows that seem to fly well out of my low 40# bows.

I have not tried broadheads with these yet, David.  But I will soon.  I can always go back to three fletch with broadheads.

I forgot where I got the feathers, but I need to buy some more!
