Help for my friend
« on: July 23, 2013, 08:10:00 PM »
That's right I need help for my friend, He is 6'8" shoots left handed and needs a bow to develop form and shooting muscles with....40-45# 64" or more...He plans to buy one when he gets his muscles in shape to pull 55# all the way back for his looong draw!   Does anyone have a loaner we can borrow to get the Sheriff in shape to hunt this year?  Thanks, BLM

Bow will be easy part, finding arrows for that draw he's going to have will be the tough part finding

maybe a long riser ILF bow would work for him?? he can buy a set of 40 lb limbs and a 25" riser.. then sell the 40-45# limbs and buy a set of 50#s or 55#s for hunting..

^^^ thats what I was thinking. you can pick up an olympic style riser pretty cheap at lancaster, spray paint it OD green, add some cheap limbs and your good to go. probably around $2-250 for a decent setup.
just have to add that with a long draw length, depending on what limbs he buys(samick and Tr@dTech, or other korean limbs in general run about 5# heavy in my experience) he may need to go with 30-35#.
