It dont matter how many bows youve got, or you have had, theres always one that performs as faithful as an old dog that youve raised from a pup.
This is the first 3 arrow group ive shot out of my old longbow I call " Blind Date" in nearly 3 months at 17 yrds. She aint real purty, and at 65 lbs she kicks just a bit less than a young calf but always hits where im looking.
Have you got an old faithful?

No matter what I do, a simple metal riser ILF bow always ends up being the best shooter I have. 64" of ugly and cold, but it shoots where I want every stinkin' time. I guess I'm destined to be with the ugly ones!

Yep....My old River Runner by Chad Holm, a real plain Jane but it's always ready to put an arrow where I want it to go. My go to bow for hunting and stumping!!

I've got an old K-Mag the same way, doesn't seem to matter how much money I spend! Ron how is that dual shelf Holmes bow shooting? A 50# Riverunner with a dual shelf really strikes my fancy. We always have to see if The One is out there!

Toelke Super D. I'm through looking for bows. I would like a fairly heavy Hill though.

My "Old Faithful" is my Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow. 50#@29.5". I am pretty sure I have shot more critters with this bow than any other I have ever owned. That might be part of the reason she is named "The Black Plague"!
