shakespear help/advice

looking on the big auction site and found a shakespear model x40 the manchos, 55#@28" and 58"AMO.
looks real nice and clean. smooth lines. pretty cheap too.
What have you got to say about the bows? the good, the bad, the ugly.

I rescued one from a yard sale. I refinished it and made a new string. The bow shoots great and I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with it.

My dad has two other Shakespear models that he loves. He's killed several deer with them.
