Hello gang, is 300 grains up front to much weight?
I'm shooting a BW bow pulling about 55 lbs. shooting CE Heritage 350's cut to about 32'. Total weight is gonna be around 725 I'd say? Is 300 gr. up front to much to shoot? What would you do?
I can get a 250 to spine true but is has to be cut to short to use a broadhead.. Thanks in advance you guys are great

Steve, I have 350 up front on a 500 Beman MFX Classic 640gr. total out of 49# @ 26". Just bare shaft tune it and you'll be very happy with the setup.

the only one that needs to answer that is you. Shoot it and see. I put 400 grains up front on 3555 GTs and I have flung them over 100 yeards with real good cast and still hitting like a ton of bricks.

Would be for me - I just went up to 500gr total from 410 for an upcoming cow elk hunt.

My draw is 30' on my Black Widwo PTF .... 300 up front makes for a heavy arrow, but boy is it silent.... A little slow, but silent...
