Kids 1/4" arrows

When I was at the ETAR I saw kids with some small diameter 1/4 wood arrows. Where are these small shafts available.

I get mine from Lowes.  They are 1/4" poplar dowels.  Work great.  Just go through the bin and pick out the straight grained ones with little or no run out. Good luck.

Black Rhino, I beleive, sells them. They are a sponsor. Not sure of other sponsors having them. I make the poplar ones from harware store stock. The grain is very hard to see on most, for me. Black Rhino's are ramin shafts which should be pretty tough.

I think 3Rivers sells the arrows in 1/4" too.

The Nocking Point has both tips and points.

Big Jim also sells the 1/4" kids arrows, I think 16.99 for 6.

Kustom King... I bought a 100 pack of raw 1/4"shafts for practice. I made them up for the three kids in my life. The price was cheap maybe under $30 by memory. The straightness left a little to be desired but all things considered I couldn't complain for the money. Depends what you want... cheap kid arrows for < 30 pounds draw? Or a perfect shaft... Shurwoods $1 ea kid shaft. Hope this helps, jim

A little time at Lowes and an order from 3Rivers should set you up. My three kids have had no troubles with them.  :)

I built mine with shafts from lowes and smaller fletching, nocks and pts from 3 rivers. I already had all the other requisite arrow building supplies. Came out awesome.
