Moving to Midlothian Virginia
«
on:

Well it is happening, leaving the state of NJ to move to VA for a new job. Timing not the best with the season right around the corner but if anyone knows of places to shoot and possibly to hunt near Midlothian please let me know. With the new job my time will be somewhat limited but I will need to get out and hunt.
Thanks

I can't help you with a hunting spot, but check out Dixie Bowmen. They are in the area and have a trad only shoot once a month Jan thru Sep.

I live an hour from Midlothian but there is a park that has a course of hay bails to shoot at different distances. I would shoot right through them with my compound most of the time but I suppose you could bring your own target.
Not much public hunting in that area. There is a military base about an hour from Midlothian area that allows hunting with for a fee.
PM me for more info.

Rockwood Park in midlothian has a free outdoor range. I'm usually there every Sunday.

I live in Chesterfield Cty. right beside Pocahontas State Park - hunt there (on the Courthouse Road side); info from PSP online. I have a wooded track of land in the neighborhood that is stump shooting heaven to me! Come on - buy you shouldn't get too doubled over laughing at my shooting abilities - it's been a rough few years :-) There's a new indoor range on Patterson Ave (Richmond) I read about - haven't checked it out. Welcome to Virginia y'all. PM me and we can get together!

Thanks all.
