Glove suggestions
« on: August 17, 2013, 10:08:00 PM »
I'm loading up on new hunting gear for the upcoming season. I need suggestions on gloves. I use the American Leathers Full shot glove but I need something for my bow hand. I want something warm but grippy. Not a big chunky glove. I want to be able to have a great feel on the bow. I don't like the standard camo gloves with a little rubber material on the palm.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Check out the Manzella bowhunting series of gloves. They have several styles that will fit the bill. I wear them October through January here in the Midwest..... Just add a hand warmer pouch when it gets really cold.
Take care,

Deer skin glove you can find them on line, they are very warm and if tanned right water proof. I use a fingerless or cut of finger mitten with magnet not Velcro. I cut the center of my mittens threads out on my glove hand, and fished my glove strap through so my mitten on that hand would cover my fingers when not in action. When game came in I just pulled back the mitten part and the little magnet grabs hold. I had picture on photobucket I think, if interested.

Sounds like an interesting idea Trad-A. If you have a pic I wouldn't mind checking it out...

Watch the magnet if you are using a compass T-A
