Gearing up for Speed Goats...Suggestions?
« on: August 23, 2013, 11:32:00 AM »
A good friend and I are heading out next month on my first antelope bow hunt.

My gear list will need to be Spartan do to the nature of the hunt and my personal preferences.

I would really appreciate advice from experienced antelope hunters on

"What is on your gear list"?

More specifically:

"What type of protective clothing (knee pads and gloves) work well for spot and stalk with a stick bow"?

Any other specific gear recommendations would also be appreciated?

Thank you!

I am not expert but have done two seasons with some spot and stalk.  One thing I always have is a hat that has neck protection  from the sun.  I also have knee pads and wear thin leather gloves I can shoot my longbow with and at the same time protect my hands.  Binoculars are nice but I find that they get in my way at times.
