I took the fur off of one, but most of them are way up in the leaves.

Opens here in Ohio on the first.
Not sure if I'll go out or wait till the leaves fall
Chiggars and ticks are horrible this year
Im one big welt.
I may wait till Oct or Nov.
IMO Best time to hunt is after the leaves have fallen and a storm front is moving in.
They will be looking for nuts like crazy then.
I may have to go out for a while tough.

I wish we had early season. Scout, work on stalking and working bugs out before deer....

Squirrels are actually scored on the B&S scale rather than the P&Y, even for bow kills.  I have a youtube video that describes the process in great detail.

Bullie, that video was pretty damn funny.  I love how you kept referring to random charts for scoring purposes.  Really made me laugh when your apprentice said "Exactly what you thought" after you used that big dial thing.  Great job.

Thanks mikebiz.  We have a lot of fun with it.  The Quality Squirrel Management Association (QSMA) is the most prestigious trophy squirrel hunting organization in the land.  LOL  If you liked that video, there are a few more QSMA TV episodes.  People really like the deer hunting tip, very useful for the traditional bowhunter I might add, in the second segment. Also some good food plot information.

Believe it or not, Squirrels Unlimited already exists...at least online.  They have a website but I believe you may have to pay to post on their site.
