Simmons shark. They penetrate wonderfully and make a big hole.  I honestly cant think of a better head for anything in North America outside of perhaps bison.  And then itd still be a simmons.

Big Ole ACE Mike. Holed a lot of critters with the Express. Easy on the pocket as well.

I just picked up some 185 Grizzly heads from Bill Dunn to try this fall. I will keep you posted on my efforts with them. Very nice head, and get sharp fast. Also easy on the pocket.

Have fun

I prefer two blade broadheads and my preferences are Stos, Maguns II and Rib Tec.  All have done well by me on whitetails.

All are wasy to keep sharp and hold up well.

I've used the Magnus I since their beginning and love them. If you choose the 4 blade model you have the option to use it as either a 2 blade or 4 blade if you decide to make a change.

The 4 blade is 150 gr. w/bleeder in place... 135 gr. without bleeder. They also make a 160 gr. 2 blade. All are bomb proof.

The Magnus II if you want a narrower head... 1 1/4".

Thanks for all the suggestions. To answer a question posed, few pass-thrus with the 3 blades. Also, upon inspection, saw how ribs diverted the travel (possibly caused by the reaction of animal)course of the arrows. I'm looking forward to trying out...probably all...of the ones mentioned here. Eclipse is another good choice. Also cost effective with a lifetime warranty. If you bend it or break it, send it back to 'em and they'll replace it. A great feature if you have the "occasional" errant shot like I do!   :knothead:

For me it is the Simmons interceptor. Awesome flight, and things die really quick.

Here's what I use to sharpen my broadheads.  Works great for me.

In 1953 I started out with 2 bld heads. Over the years I shot 3 and 4 bld heads with good results then about ten years ago I went back to the 2 blade. For the last 7 or 8 years I've been using the Ace Super Express and I really love that head. It's strong, sharpens easy, fly's great and it's reasonably priced...what more could you ask of a broadhead..     :dunno:

Ace heads have been around longer than I have and that's a LONG time

If you are looking at glue on broadheads, I honestly can't think of a "bad" one that is still in production.

LOTS of good choices available.

The old school design single bevel Eclispe is an awesome broadhead.
Teflon, traditional look, but single bevel.

You will have to order them direct from Eclipse though I think.

For me I don't think you could go wrong with any of the broad heads that ACE Archery Tackle offers.
Dollar for Dollar I think they are the best head on the market.

Been using 150gr. Magnus Stingers with great success. Recently picked up some Grizzly broadheads. I'm really liking them as well.
