2, 3, & 4 blade blood trails. Your experiences?

Best bloodtrails I`ve ever followed were made by Snuffers and treesharks. I shoot low pounds and tiger sharks and woodsmans work for me.RC

.   To a extent I also believe this to be True. I have shot 2 different deer with a 2 blade delta that jumped a little then went back to feeding before bleeding out. In both cases it went between ribs without breaking them causing very little trauma and flight .

Same here but higher number of deer going back to feeding or just walking off and falling over with Delta FOUR blades.

Shot a couple of hogs that spun around not knowing what happened also.  

4 holes in all.

Its also easy to say 'all went down in sight' if you live out west.  Come back east and kill a hundred and see if you can say the same thing, better yet, kill 10 and see. It really is a lot different here.  Yeah, lots of open wooded terrain here, but a lot more thickets and a lot less golf coursish... and that's how your get more deer by playing in the thick stuff or on the edge.

I also know for a fact that game is likely to step forward way more often that backward during the shot...and also a fact that its easier if they do to pass through them with a multiblade.  And, you'll do more damage, release more toxins, and make them lay down faster if the shot is back due to movement...not to mention two holes with more chance of blood and sign on the ground...or nearby vegetation.  In my opinion, if your equipment can handle the game (and deer aren't armor plated) the more the better.

Used 2 blades as well...mostly wide ones.

This one went down in sight with a WW buried to the fletch....

               


Broadheads are like tools, not one tool for every job.....nor equipment.  There's a need for every style for what ever game sought or set up.

Get em sharp boys what ever your choice, and put them where they need to go...
