My first trad frog.
« on: September 02, 2013, 03:16:00 AM »
A few buddies of mine got together tonight for some frog gigging/catfishing. I asked my friend if I should bring my bow and he said "Shoot yeah boy that'll be awesome!" Well it turned out I was the only frog hunter with any success! Only one good sized bullfrog but heck I'll take that any day.

I used my normal deer hunting set up which is a Zipper sxt longbow 61@30 3 rivers trad only arrows and a 250 grain blunt. Heck if I can shoot a deer as good as this frog I'll be set come deer season!

Matthew, when that big buck comes by you this season- just think "frog legs" and he is in big trouble!

Thats awesome! Just goes to show ya there are very few things you can do outdoors that you can not do with a bow in your hand!
