Went scouting today

It is going to be a " Skeeter " kind of year down here. The little blood suckers were out in force in the middle of the day. I am going to have to carry the militaty grade 75% deet for the trip out from my stand in the evening. It is either that or wear my bug suit and carry a gallon of water and salt pills...lol

The good thing is the swamps are full so it may act like a funnel. Accoring to the sign around my stand thats what is happining

It did !! I was going to pop you an IM to say THANK YOU,

I gave it to my brother this morning when I picked him up to go scounting. He was really happy and went on about me spending to much money on him. He was blown away when I told him it was donated by a member of the trad community. He used to ask why I was switching from wheelies and today I got to say THIS IS WHY.

So I say thank you. I will feel better knowing he is straped in.

I do use a thermacell up in the stand. It is the trip in to it morning and out in the evening that gets brutal.

I will be back over your way next Saturday for the safety briefing at Avon Park AFR but we will not be out until the 22nd to hunt as it is not worth it to drive over for just two days. We have quota's into Walk in Water on the 30th
