Tilley hats are GREAT!  Summer and winter models, customer service is FABULOUS!  Really quick shipping.  Exchange (for size) was zip quick!

I picked up a vintage felt fedora at an antique mall for 10 bucks a while back...  :)

Three rivers has a Borsalino clone (Fred Bear) that I have had good service out of.  Also check Hats in the Bellfry for wool felt hats that may not be geared for hunters . . . but neither was Fred Bear's Borsalino.  ;-)

I must say, I love my Tilley.  I just haven't had the guts to wear it while I'm hunting.  I think I need to "get over it" 'cause it's arguably my favorite hat and would not get in the way of the string as other hats do.

CoupsCaps

I don't know how I overlooked these, but they look great. He just posted though that he won't be taking orders until the first of the year. If he starts up again this will be one that I would try.

I do like a Fedora style felt hat but it's hard to beat a Stormy Kromer in cold weather(don't let Fl next to my handle fool ya, I've lived in NY, MI, and IA).
