Eagle Flight Archery Quiver for Kodiak
« on: September 24, 2013, 03:29:00 PM »
I am looking to pick up a EFA quiver for my Kodiak.  Wondering if anyone uses this quiver on there Kodiak that can help with the right model. Thinking a 4 arrow just not sure what size.

I use and EFA on my '64 Kodiak along with most of my other bows, 4 arrow mostly.  IMO a great compromise between capacity and retaining the feather weight of the EFA.

I'm considering the same for my Shafer TD. Limb bolt style.
Rattlesnake panel with brown leather will match the bow perfectly.

I just am not sure about size considering the large heads I tend to prefer. Four arrow is fine just want to make sure the heads aren't crowded.

I use Razorheads with my 62 Kodiak and 4 fit perfect in the EFA quiver I use on it.

Give Don a call, he's a good guy and will get you set up with with what you need.

I have the five arrow on my bow and if I were to do it all over I would get the 4. The five arrow is quite large. Very nice though. You can'tgo wrong with the quiver .

Charlie, I use nothing but the medium sized 4 arrow EFA (I have one on all of my bows now) & like you, I prefer a big ol' head. I can get 4 Magnus 1 4-bladers in there with a little planning. I HATE when my broadheads touch each other & this is as small as I'd like to go. 4 160 Snuffers is possible. Hell, I can actually cram 4 large deadheads in there if need be!

Rob,

That's good to know. I'm going to call Don and talk to him as well.

Thans for the info.  I have a 3 arrow on my Big River longbow and it is nice but I want something a little bigger for the recurve so I can keep a blunt along with three BH's.  I am using Magnus 4 blades and they can take up a little space.

If I was doing it again I would see if I could get the five arrow holder and the 4 arrow hood. I got the side mount and tapped my riser so I think that would not be a problem like it would be if the quiver was connected.

Charlie,
I had Don make me a little longer 4 arrow quiver head to cover my forged heads as they tend to as long or longer than Grizzly's.

I prefer the 4 but if you like a 5 for the limb bolt I've got a nice one listed in the contributor section.  The advantage of the 5 is the depth allows for longer BH's like the grizzly

I have had quite a few.I like my 4 arrow hood. Its not too big and Its still lightweight.

I mostly use it with a 3 arrow gripper as I feel I shouldnt need more than 3 arrows for my style of hunting.Plenty of room for 3 broadheads with excellant fletch clearance and also to prevent any possible fletch rattle.Thats been my go to hunting quiver for quite a few years and I have many different bowquivers to choose from that gather dust mostly.

I do have a 4 arrow gripper as well which would work well for you with the additional blunt you want to carry.

Great quivers, if you go to Don's website, under accessories, he details the size of the hoods of all the models.

I'd get the Largest size hood he has then your covered.
