Vinyl cresting wraps, goat tuff accelerator spray followed up with a feather and goat tuff glue. Arrow fletched up and ready to shoot in under a minute and a half. I'll never use anything else.

Lately I just been washing the feather end of the shaft with a sponge with some Dawn on it and rinsing.. And since I had issues wiht Fletch Tite I tried some Ducco, it's been working great and much cheaper.. This is on GT Trads and CE Heritage shafts..

I second Saunders NPV glue on bare shafts. I use fletch Laq. thinner to clean first. I use Fletch tite when I do wraps.

The Martin glue as mentioned is excellent for carbons. Saunders NPV Arrow Mate is also excellent and may be the same glue. It is sold by 3 Rivers.

Loctite Ultra Gel Control with Onestringer wraps. Hard to beat for durability, easier to refletch without messing up your shafts, I like designing custom wraps on their site, and just plain great folks to work with. Don't forget the "Double Doggs"...and if you want the look of a bare shaft, you could just use the double doggs and fletch over them.

Thanks again for all the replies and ideas. It seems I will have to at least. Try wraps, lots of people like them...
Thanks Bish... yes Yononindo's video. Our season opens the first of Oct so I haven't made a mess with one yet but its on the list.... real high I might add. Ha

I have had the best luck with fletch tape on carbons. I wear the feathers out long before they come off. When I do need to change feathers, I can usually peel off the tape and fletch in one piece. It is way cheaper than using wraps and glue and stays put as well or better. I put a dab of glue (Duco or Fletchtite) on the front of the fletches to keep the quill from catching the skin between my thumb and forefinger. I'm not sure if this would happen with the tape, but having experienced it with glue in the past, I have no desire to risk it.

x2 on the locktite ultra control gel, I use the black label one that is also impact resistant, its really strong and not too bad in price, I use it on wood and carbon arrows and have for years.

Fletch Tite Platinum on my GT's, and they never come of either. Just wipe with acetone first. I never lost a feather, and when I want to refletch, have to scrape and sand the old glue off.
