hoyt excel riser...trad tec limbs...fast quiet unbelievably accurate with plunger..260.00 or so brand new all set up....

Another good option would be to buy a bow from Maddog. You can a custom longbow or recurve well within that price from Mike.

I own a Sage and have had 2 Red Stags. I think the Red Stag is the way to go. Only one pin and a bolt,  but no problems.

I like several of the Samick bows.  One of them that I have wanted for a while is the Stingray.
