I don't have pics of all my gloves, but here's a couple of my gloves that show the different techniques on design to change the fit and function.
I rarely shoot bows lighter than 60-pounds, so I prefer heavy leather tips with nylon inserts lined with soft leather. This is completely unnecessary for me when I'm shooting my light bows, but for my heavier hunting bows, I feel the inserts and lining to be a plus.
The darker glove is of standard stall length with closed tips. I've modified the glove a bit over the years to tailor the fit, but this design allows for a deep hook and full function of the hand, to include just fitting within the trigger guard of my emergency backup revolver, though just barely enough to function the gun.
The lighter glove is one I'm currently experimenting with due to my large hands. This glove has slightly longer stalls with modified open tips. This allows the finger tips to go deeper within the stalls for a better fit with long fingers. The open tips also aid in a deep hook and allow for a more tactile feel of an anchor (reference) point on a specific tooth.
Such gloves can be made with any combination of open or closed tips with either standard or long stalls. Hope this helps
