Had a great morning
« on: September 28, 2013, 04:56:00 PM »
Killed a gray wolf, leopard, hyena, axis deer, elk, wart hog, grizzly, two black bears, an antelope, two pigs and four white tails.  First annual Liberty Baptist Church 3D Shoot in Martin, La.  Came in first in the trad division.  (Only three of us  ;)  ).  Got to shoot a couple of great TD recurves (a Bob Lee Signature and a Silvertip) with a couple of great guys, but my old Red Wing held its on.  Ready for opening day Tuesday.

God bless
Matt Toms

I wish we had more 3-D shoots near here.
I did get my backyard buck & block target though?

This was the first 3d shoot I've been to.  Really enjoyed it.  I've never gone to any of the "real" shoots because they are mostly compound guys and I've heard they take it pretty seriously.  This was just a fun shoot on a wooded lot right down from the church.  Still mostly compounds, but only a couple of local "real competitors" so it stayed pretty laid back.
