This one is to give Thumperdunker all the credit he deserves as I most likely won't catch up
This was an obnoxious windy day that allowed a little interceptive movement. A lip squeal was silent in the wind so a loud lip whistle brought him to 22 steps. He was wired and muscling up to get out of there fast but too late. The arrow was an old beater FMJ with 100 gr. insert and ZD4 at about 700grains launched from a 62# Sparrowhawk. He made it about 110 yards with the less than ideal hit. He was skinned for tanning and a Euro skull.
A wheelie guy came hiking along and was quite befuddled as to how a shot was even possible like that...I smiled and said "quickly".
