Jeff,

Wayne Depperschmidt, Rick Duggan and Fred Eichler to name a few.

I'll be in Anchorage tomorrow to begin my first sheep hunt.

Fred Eichler just completed his grand slam a little while back. One heck of a nice guy to boot!  :archer:

thanks everyone,These Heroes should be more well known because that is one heck-of-an accompishment but I guess it just comes down to the fact that for trad hunters its more personal and about the actual experience which cant be readily "put on a wall" or "in a record book". Best of luck on the sheep hunt Jack. wish I could go just to help. make sure you let me know how it goes if you dont mind. My biggest regret on sheep hunts is almost always that I didnt have enough time so I hope you DO....and a tasty drawing permit would be nice too. (being in great shape is right up there as well now isnt it?)
