Ya gotta love some of the things kids come out with. I was on the phone planning a hunt with my son for later this year when he told me this story. He acquired a jug of maple syrup from some friends and proceeded to whip up a batch of pancakes for the family. After breakfast he asked his 5 year old son Alex what he thought if the stuff. As you might expect it was good. Then he asked him what he thought it was made of. Alex looked at it for a moment and said "water and sunshine". I thought that was one amazing answer.

Now that is a grandson with promise.

Kids come up with amazing answers sometimes.  The lack of clutter with facts and ideas that are (eventually)pounded into their brains allows for a bit more free thinking I believe.

Thank you for that

Reeeal maple syrup....golden nectar! Alex is not wrong!

Has anyone ever made venison sausage with sage? You know like a pork breakfast sausage?

When I get a deer this year I would do that!

Yes, I always put Sage in it when I make my Venison Breakfast Sausage. And being a Yankee as well, I won't hesitate to put a splash or two of Maple Syrup on top of my cooked patties either  :D   ... That's some good eatin right there
