I've been back with my longbows for a couple of years now. Just really enjoying them and shooting them better than I think I ever have.

I have put away the Hill style bows for a while since I killed the buck.
I've got my buddy Mark's Silvertip all set up and ready to shoot something. Once I get one for Mark I'll drag out those longbows again.

Reminds me of the time three of my friends came out to Wyoming to hunt antelope with me. I had spots all scouted and just knew they'd be into antelope in short order.

I picked the very best of the spots for them and took what I thought were the worst spots for myself.

I killed three antelope that week and they got zip.

Best laid plans and all that.
