New addition to the family(not another kid)
« on: September 08, 2007, 02:45:00 PM »
No children, been there done that!

A new to me Blacktail Columbia Long bow!! I have one of Norms 1pc Blacktail Elite Recurves. Ever since he stoped making(taking orders) for the long bow, I've naturally wanted one. His craftsmanship is superb JMO!! This 64" 62# @28" came up for sale on our traditional listings. And I hemmed and hawed, and did what I do best procrastinate. Hoping some one would hurry up and buy it, so I did'nt have to look at it!!! Well that did'nt happen, so now it resides with old hormoan. It was 10lbs heavier than what I normally shoot, so that caused the procrastination. I've only shot it around 30 times today. It seems to chuck a XX75 2314 @610 grs pretty good. That is a little light in weight, need to bump it up a little. Chrongraph says around 180 FPS I will work some more on tuning!!

           Sweet!!!!!!

                 Brent

I'm a sick sick man, sould be banned from the for sale site forever  :D

Very nice Brent.  I think we are going to need to shoot together more often just to keep up on each others growing bow collections.  Nice shooting to there buddy!!

Brent I know what you mean about staying away from bows for sale section. It's an addiction. I have a Morrison coming.   :D
