I told it briefly in an above post Kirk, but here ya go.

Mark had started to build some turkey calls and dabble in re-scaling some of his knives.(ask him to post a pic of his ka-bar).
He made a really cool call from some Hackberry, and then was able to harvest a couple nice birds, had his son's with him for one or more of them.

When he decided to have a bow made he brought the wood over to see if I could use it in the bow. So I was able to work it in.
The hackberry and walnut are from Mark's lumber. I added the rest.
Mark started his trad journey last year, but fell and broke some bones in his leg/ankle. he has recovered and is progressing just fine I would say. This was his first hunt since he fell last Nov I think.
makes me smile Mark, Congrats again.

Here is the whole story,

Yes, you are correct Chuck.  This was my first deer hunt since my fall last November.  In fact it was my first time using my new harness and safety line.  No problems, it is a Spider Micro Harness and safety line.  Very comfortable.

Here is the pictures of my Ka-Bar Phat Bob that I rehandled and modified.  We were gonna try and use some of this tiger freak maple but didn't have big enough pieces.
