My favorite would be a loggy bayou, but I hate their climbing aid. Next in line would be a summit.

Northstar ATA, I think they went out of business, but I can get it in any tree and is very comfortable.

loggy bayou climber pro staff,this climber can be a little tricky,getting used too the hand climber. Once you have mastered it,this stand is the most comfortable stand I have ever used.
Once you get up in the tree the seat jacknife's open so their's nothing in your way when you shoot,not too mention the seat is very very comfortable.

Home made portable ladder stand with folding 24X32 platform. Properly built and maintained, it'll last 20 years. Weighs about the same as an eight foot stepladder and can be used as a deer drag if you add some wheels.

Lone Wolf hand climber for me. Its not the easiest to climb, or the most comfortable, but its lightweight, quiet, and offers wide open shooting.

I own 2 Summit climbing stands and a Cabelas hang on .  In your case, I would go Lone Wolf.  Just saw one a friend got.  Nice.  I don't have the money, but would get it if I did and was in the market for a climber.  Maybe some day... though I am enjoying ladder stands right now.

Guys, I guess I've used about a dozen different stands over the years. One of my first stands was a Warren & Sweat "Climber" (translation: death trap). Now that I've sufficiently dated myself...

Hands down, the most versatile stand out there - IMHO - for virtually ANY tree stand hunting situation is the Chippewa Wedge Loc. It's light weight, hangs effortlessly, and is absolutely squeak free. My Wedge Loc stand and three climbing sticks will silently put me 16' up any tree in less than five minute flat; five minutes meaning, FIVE sweat-free MINUTES. I leave rigging chains in various places so that I can always keep the wind in my face.

Do yourself a favor and google Chippewa Wedge Loc tree stands. I'm not one to make recommendations unless I'm absolutely convinced that a product is top shelf.

Don't have alot of use for a climber here. Screaming Eagle is the best hang on I've ever used. If I recall, there is no weight limit.
