Was out last night in my stand that is a natural funnel that I have had great success out of.Got in around 4:00 pm for a nice sit.Pushed up a little 6pt.going in.After things have settled a fawn comes out of the thicket and browses right to my stand and starts to smell the rungs of my ladder stand and hangs around a bit and then beds directly under my stand between the ladder and the tree. She is there for about 20 minutes when 4 does come out on the trail and start to feed my way,as one gets closer I don't want to spook her from under my tree. The lead doe gives me a perfect 20 yd shot, that fawn was still under me when I shot the doe and she didn't go 20 yds thru the thicket before piling up,got to say that it was entertaining to say the least.Hope all have a safe and successful season and bring on the Rut.Thanks for reading
