Kids Bows...Let's see em

I was looking at my 8 yr olds bow tonight and noticed some nicks, dings, and a hole in the leather strike plate...all caused by good 'ol fashioned wear and tear. These physical signs that he has used this bow so much in just the last 18 months struck me as very cool.

My oldest shoots a longbow that I picked up from Sipsey River (sponser) about 3 years ago. Looks like he's ready to move up.
I made this one for my then 2 year old son, who is now three. I need to build him a new one, this one is 4@14.
Apparently the fade is more comfortable than the leather grip. :D
