I found "Annie" living in a road culvert when she was about 8 weeks old, she weighed 2 1/2" lbs. She's 3 1/2 now. First time she tried blood trailing she was 6 months old searching after dark for a doe a friend had shot. We couldn't find Annie, looked and looked all around. Well she had found the deer, it had tumbled down a steep embankment, landed upside down and Annie was quietly sitting on the does stomach waiting for us to shine a flashlight on her 'discovery'. She's close to 100% on trails but has missed a couple. A handy friend to have.

Sounds like Annie appreciates the nice home that you have provided her. Not much better than having a good dog.
